GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ DAY AT UPCHURCH RIVER VALLEY
Event Date: 21-06-2008
We would like to invite you to take part in a Guinness World Record™ attempt at Upchurch River Valley, on Sat 21st June 2008. We intend to attempt to break the world record for the greatest number of golfers playing 18 holes in 24 hours (walking) and we would like you to be part of our world record breaking team.
To break the record we must complete 624 medal rounds of golf. In order to do this every competitor must be able to complete 18 holes within 3-3.5 hours, and we will also be starting at first light so will be looking for some early risers!!
The entry fee per person will be £20 which will include your green fee for 18 holes of golf plus a meal and drink (food will vary depending on the time of day) and a goodie bag with a memento of the day.
We hope you will be able to join us and be part of our team on this exciting day which is in aid of our Captains charity for 2008, the Alzheimer’s Society. If you want to be part of this fantastic opportunity, please contact me for an entry form which will need to be completed and returned with your entry fee to me through the Pro Shop. All are welcome to enter so please don’t forget to tell a friend.
