About MeHaving started playing golf properly at about age 14 with my Dad and brother, I very quickly improved having had lessons with my local P.G.A. pro at Gillingham Golf Club in Kent. I then joined Upchurch River Valley Golf Club as a junior member and was made their first Junior Captain in 1994. I started working at Upchurch River Valley in February 1995 at age 17 where I undertook the role of retail assistant in the Professional shop under the guidance of then Head Professional Martin Daniels. I worked here for four years during which time I started my P.G.A training under new Head Professional Roger Cornwell. I then spent 18 months working with Paul Foston at Cobtree Manor Golf Course in Maidstone, before returning to Upchurch to continue my training. I have been back here for almost 8 years and am now the Head Teaching Professional.
